Cork should make it two from two as they take on Dublin in the Very National Camogie League Division 1A on Saturday.
The game is scheduled for 2pm at St Peregrines GAA Club, Blakestown.
It’s a game Cork will be expected to win as they aim to keep their winning start going. Last weekend they had an impressive win over Waterford at SuperValu Páirc Ui Chaoimh and, along with tomorrow’s tie was one they were always expected to win.
Last year they had a comprehensive win over Dublin, but this time around it should be a lot closer.
Dublin lost out to Galway by 1-2 to 0-13 and the latter will be one of the sides expected to be in contention for overall league honours at the end of March.
If Cork repeat their performance against Waterford then there is every chance they will make it two from two. But they won’t be taking anything for granted and this squad is very focused and won’t underestimate Dublin.
Speaking ahead of the game Cork manager, Ger Manley, said: “Dublin are very strong a very physical team and it’s going to be very different to the Waterford game last Saturday.
“But the girls are very focused and I thought at times last week, especially in the first half, some of our play was very good and we will need to up that again tomorrow against Dublin.”

Cork now have a squad that has plenty of depth and Manley will be expected to rotate a few more players tomorrow as he tries to get game time into them ahead of the championship in a few months time.
He said last week that the Waterford tie was their first real game of the season as they found it difficult to get challenge games, for a variety of reasons, in the previous weeks.
So players will be a little bit rusty and it’s going to take a few outings before Cork will find their stride and start playing anywhere near the level they are capable of. But if anyone from the Dublin camp was at the Páirc last Saturday they would have left worried.
On the pitch Cork had the likes of Laura Hayes, Libby Coppinger, Izzy O’Regan, Ashling Thompson, Orlaith Cahalane, and Player of the Game Saoirse McCarthy, to name a few.
All were outstanding on the day and what would have worried any Dublin person present was the talent sitting in the stand that didn’t see game time and will be bursting to go tomorrow.
Watching on were the likes of team captain, Meabh Cahalane, Laura Treacy, Katrina Mackey, Amy O’Connor, and Orlaith Mullins.
All big names missing from the team and add in others like Ava Fitzgerald, Meabh Ring, Clare Mullins, and Rahel Harty who came on and Manley has the type of headaches any manager wants.
This is a driven bunch of players and they will be determined to drive on tomorrow and make it two from two and set them up nicely for a meeting with the Cats a week later.
