A man has been charged as part of an investigation targeting organised criminal activity between July and September 2020 in the South and East of the country.

He was one of two men arrested on Tuesday following a search conducted at a property in Limerick.

They were arrested in relation to suspected involvement in burglary, theft and robbery offences.

During the course of the search a number of devices were seized.

He is due to appear before Limerick District Court on Thursday morning.

The other man has been released without charge. Investigations are ongoing, and a file will be prepared for the DPP.
