Ten units of the fire-brigade are attending a fire in Huntstown in west Dublin this morning.

Dublin Fire Brigade said it was called to a fire in a recycling facility off the Cappagh Road at 6am this morning.

Ten fire engines, including two turnable ladders, two water tankers, two foam tenders and an emergency tender are on the scene, as well as assistance from Dublin Airport Fire Service.

The fire brigade is warning that smoke is drifting across the locality driven by a strong wind and are asking nearby residents to take precautions if they are affected.
