The Workplace Relations Commission ruled that the supermarket group has breached the Employment Equality Act 1998 on grounds of disability

The British company is the single largest retail purchaser of Irish food and drink in the world, and is supplied by about 60 Cork companies

This is according to Tesco Ireland, who listed their top 10 items purchased on Christmas Eve.

The finance minister said he expects other retailers to follow suit.

Over the last year, volunteers using the Olio app have collected 131 tonnes of food from Tesco Ireland and redistributed it across the country.
