The Live is used to track the number of people ing for Jobseeker's Benefit or Jobseeker's Allowance

The counties that saw the greatest increase in the 12 months to October 2022 were Kerry 32.7 per cent and Clare 27.4 per cent.

Tipperary was the only county that saw a decrease in the number of people on its live in the year to September.

The seasonally adjusted total for August 2022 shows that 186,100 people are on the Live , up 1,900 or 1.0 per cent from July

CSO figures show 183,300 people were counted, down 1,200 on the previous month
