Cork Airport was a buzzing hive of activity and excitement as people jetted in for the Guinness Cork Jazz Festival.

Live performances will start at 1.30pm and continue until the early hours and ticket holders can move around the hotel, from stage to stage.

The full lineup will be announced closer to the date.

Now in its 46th year, the jazz festival, which runs over the October bank holiday weekend, is worth millions to Cork’s economy, with more than 150,000 people visiting the city for last year’s events.
