Applause, Cork Opera House, 5pm: Montfort College of Performing Arts presents a song and dance extravaganza featuring over 1,500 students from all over Cork city and county. Tickets €28.

Shine, The Everyman, 6.30pm: Students aged 3 to 20 bring your favourite musicals to life as presented by Super Stars Cork Academy. Tickets €28.

Underneath, Cork Arts Theatre, 8pm: Written and performed by Pat Kinevane and directed by Jim Culleton, this play is described as “a blackly comic, rich and vivid tale of a life lived in secret.”

ABBAesque, Cyprus Avenue, 7pm: One of Ireland’s most successful tribute shows. Tickets €25.

Blarney Community Choir Summer Concert, Scoil Mhuire gan Smál, 7.30pm: A fun family-friendly sing-along show, a musical journey from the 1950s to modern day. Tickets €10.

Alma Choir Spring Concert 2025, St Peter’s North Main Street, 8pm: Formed in late 2024, Alma Choir has quickly gained recognition for its vibrant sound and expressive musicality.

Sunday

Laura Duff, Plugd Records, 7pm: Duff’s astute lyrics navigate grief and celebrate the people and places that have shaped her. Tickets €13.

MusiCórum, Honan Chapel UCC, 7pm: With soprano, mixed-voice choir, cello, and organ. Tickets €15.

Clonakilty Brass Band Annual Concert, Dunmore House Hotel, 7pm: Talented musicians showcase their skills. Tickets €17.

Gardening Club, Stonewall Gardens Carrigaline, 9am: Expert gardeners are on hand to guide you through planting and pruning. Tickets €12.50.

Neon Paint experience, Civic Trust House, 10.30am: A fun, creative way to spend your Saturday, painting a puffin using bright neon colours. Tickets €25.

Reggie: Oh Lads!, The Mills Inn, Ballyvourney, 8.30pm: Reggie from the Blackrock Road visits the Gaeltacht to ask the big questions. €27.80.

Dancin Till Sunrise, Kino Events House, 3pm: Eight-and-a-half-hour rave event featuring techno, electro and hardgroove. Tickets €7.40.

Mallow Home and Garden Festival, Mallow Racecourse, 11am: A spectacular range of exhibits, events and entertainment. Tickets €15.

Cork Audio Tour, The English Market, 1pm: Feel the cultural heartbeat of Cork in an immersive journey through time and traditions. Tickets €3.99.

Styled By: Sarah Rickard Summer Event, The River Lee Hotel, 4pm: An event with a focus on perimenopause and menopause related skincare, health and wellness. Tickets €45.
