  • Red Riding Hood, The Everyman, 7pm: Cork’s favourite traditional family panto is back. Embark on a magical journey through an enchanted forest with Red Riding Hood. Tickets €37.
  • The Cork Opera House & Neville Jewellers Panto – Cinderella, Cork Opera House, 7pm: Bring your family and friends along for a night filled with enchantment, laughter, and unforgettable memories. Tickets €39.50.

  • Jack And The Organic Bean Stalk - The Pantomime, Ringaskiddy Community Centre, 7.30pm: Courtesy of The Harbour Amateur Dramatics Group. Tickets €10.
  • Ed Byrne: Tragedy Plus Time, The Everyman, 8pm: From the quote attributed to Mark Twain, humour is defined as “tragedy plus time”. Ed as he tests that formula by mining the most tragic event in his life for laughs. Tickets €35.

MUSIC

Saturday

  • The Stunning, Cyprus Avenue, 7pm: After an absence of almost ten years, the Galway band reformed in 2003 after providing the soundtrack to a generation of people brought up in Ireland during the late ’80s and ’90s. Tickets €35.
  • Gavin James, Cyprus Avenue, 8pm: It’s been 10 years since Gavin released his debut live album so, to celebrate, he has announced a few select intimate shows at Cyprus Avenue. Tickets €44.

Sunday

  • Hermitage Green, Cork City Hall, 7pm: Irish acoustic folk rock band, formed in 2010, made up of brothers Dan and Barry Murphy, Darragh Griffin, Darragh Graham and Dermot Sheedy. Tickets €32.

  • Daylight Disco, Popscene, 6-10pm: For the over 30s. The ’80s and ’90s themed late-night venue provides non-stop dance tunes by DJ Simon Murdoch. Out early, home early! Tickets €6.34.
  • Festive Evenings at Blackrock Castle, 3pm: Immerse yourself in the festive atmosphere as you explore the castle’s beautiful interior, including a 17th century fireplace adorned with stockings and Santa’s chair and a captivating Star Show’ Tickets €15.

Sunday

  • RDJ Cork Santa Cycle, Goldbergs, 6.30pm: Hundreds of Santa Clauses will descend on Victoria Road to paint the town red, in a 7km cycle, to light up Cork in aid of Pieta House.

  • Paddington In Peru: Paddington is on a big adventure, and it is a lot of fun.
