PAIR OF PUFFINS
These colourful enigmatic seabirds spend their summers on the island, breeding and fattening their chicks on sand-eel and sprat. Puffins Nest in colonies on coastal colonies and offshore Islands, and are also known as ’sea parrots’.

Gannets catch fish by plunging into the shoals from a great height. they can dive from a height of 30m, achieving speeds of 100 km/h as they strike the water, enabling them to catch fish much deeper than most airborne birds.
